Team Development

Freedom Lacrosse offers a special Team Development program that is available to elementary, middle, high school, and club teams looking to improve both lacrosse skills and leadership development on and off the field.  College coaches will visit your team, in your town, to work on lacrosse skills including fundamentals and game strategy based on the needs of your team, in addition to providing classroom sessions on character and leadership development.  We also want to help coaches and parents learn how to break down the game so they can continue teaching appropriate lacrosse skills and techniques.  Cost will vary depending on number of players and adults, distance to your area, and length of session.

            Optional Add-On:  Recruiting Seminar

College coaches will meet with your high school athletes, their parents, coaches, and school personnel to help guide the player through the college recruiting process.  We will address all NCAA divisions and NAIA schools, and give you some inside perspective on the process, including identifying the right school for you, learning how to craft a great email (written by the student athlete, NOT the parent!), the truth about sending film, the questions to ask and things to look for when visiting a college campus, how to talk to a college coach on the phone, and more.  Athletes in other sports and their parents are welcome to attend!  The recruiting process doesn’t have to be difficult, and we want to help you have a better understanding so that you make the right decision for you.
